Rick & Linda
Rick Trice is an independent singer/ songwriter/actor who lives and works in the cool foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Northern New Mexico, with his beautiful and talented wife, Linda, who joins him in making great music, both in life and on keyboards. Together, they perform, write, publish and record their original songs in their own studio, on their own label ("ANASTASIS", which is Greek for "Arising from the dead".) Rick has also begun producing projects for other area songwriters.
They also spend a lot of time on other community projects: leading praise and worship music in churches on a regional basis; lending their artistic and acting talents to various regional theatrical efforts; and combining their love of God and motorcycles in a longtime membership and ministry through the Christian Motorcyclists Association, a ministry to bikers.
But their most successful "productions" to date have been their three wonderful children, now young adults themselves, currently producing beautiful grandchildren!
Linda was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, the youngest of four children. She began her career there in banking, where she and Rick met and later married. She is a talented and accomplished pianist and keyboardist, often in demand as an accompanist for theatrical, school, and church productions. She is also very active in theater, having acquired various "backstage" skills in set design, lighting, sound, and stage management. Linda loves the Lord Jesus, her family, people, the outdoors, and her music, in that order! She has a genuine heart of compassion for people in need, and is often found ministering to those needs.
The Trices stay extremely busy, dividing their time amongst songwriting & recording, performing, acting, directing stage plays, extensive traveling, keeping up with their family, and even teaching the Bible and pastoring a small non-denominational church in Raton (see www.ratontrinity.com). As if that's not enough, Rick also holds down a job in a local bank and Linda works in the local school systems.
Rick and Linda thank God for all His blessings, and firmly believe that all music is a reflection of God’s creative power within us all; that we were all ultimately created for His pleasure; that we attain that relationship through a profession of faith in the Lord, Christ Jesus;
They believe that we are each called to this life with a purpose, and that is to share our faith through being ourselves, and by the example of our lives; and that we should seek and find those God-given gifts within us that are special, and then strive to constantly excel in them. Or, to paraphrase Psalm 33:3, “…play skillfully with a loud noise!”
